DGN
Ghana · Diaspora · Community

One people.
Two worlds.
One network.

VAGHANT DGN — Diaspora Ghanaian Network — connects Ghanaians living abroad with the homeland they carry in their hearts, and with the communities working to build its future.

Four pillars.
One mission.

🏛
Pillar One

VAGHANT INSTITUTE

A socio-educational programme bridging the gap between local talent and international standards — training young Ghanaians in work etiquette, professional conduct, and relational integrity.

🔨
Pillar Two

VAGHANT Crafts List

A trusted, community-driven directory of skilled craftspeople and tradespeople in Ghana — curated by people with Ghana and diaspora experience who value quality and personally stand behind every recommendation they make.

🌍
Pillar Three

Diaspora Connection

Giving people with Ghana and diaspora experience a meaningful way to give back — through mentorship, funding, referrals, and participation in projects that invest directly in the people of Ghana.

📅
Pillar Four

VAGHANT Events

Community gatherings, workshops and open evenings — in Ghana and across the diaspora. Events are open to all and bring the network to life: face to face, real connection, shared purpose.

About DGN

Built by Ghanaians,
for Ghana.

VAGHANT DGN was born from a simple observation: Ghanaians with experience in the diaspora carry deep knowledge, networks, and resources — and they are looking for meaningful ways to put them to use.

We are not an NGO. We are a network of people who have experienced life at the intersection of Ghanaian roots and international standards, and who believe that the two belong together.

Through the VAGHANT INSTITUTE, the Crafts List, our Events and our growing diaspora community, we are building a platform where that belief becomes action. Practical. Structural. Lasting.

About VAGHANT INSTITUTE

Giving something
back to Ghana

VAGHANT INSTITUTE was founded by Larry King, Collins Tweneboah and Kevin Jaeger, three professionals who have worked at the intersection of Ghanaian ambition and international standards, and decided it was time to build a bridge for the next generation.

International partners and clients regularly tell us they are not satisfied with the services they receive. And in the same breath, they are clear: they would willingly pay more for higher quality and remain loyal to a provider who makes them feel genuinely seen and respected.

Ghana has the talent. What VAGHANT INSTITUTE provides is the bridge: structured, practical training in the professional conduct and etiquette that transforms a good worker into an unforgettable professional.

VAGHANT INSTITUTE is privately funded and driven entirely by the belief that investing in people is investing in Ghana.

Four phases.
One transformation.

Pre-Phase

School Access and Outreach

Before Phase 1 begins, the VAGHANT team visits Junior High Schools and Senior High Schools across the region. We introduce the project, run short interactive workshops on work etiquette and professional codes of conduct, and invite students to hear directly from professionals who operate to international standards. The goal is to show young people what it means to grow from local to international standards: not as a criticism, but as a concrete opportunity for their own financial future. Participation in Phase 1 is fully voluntary and open to every motivated student.

Phase One

Theory with
Real-World Roots

After-school training covering two dimensions. Task level: punctuality, complete tools, care for client property, accuracy and tidying up after work. Relational level: honesty, owning mistakes, proactive communication and trustworthiness as a professional asset.

Phase Two

Practical Placement
and Mentorship

Graduates are placed with vetted training institutions, only after completing Phase 1. A dedicated mentorship programme provides ongoing support throughout the placement period. Regular quality review visits ensure high standards on both sides.

Phase Three

Certification
and Employment

Graduates receive a VAGHANT INSTITUTE certificate verifying their training. They are placed in workplaces vetted by the project. Only employers who meet our standards receive candidates. Those not yet placed receive employment and continued development within VAGHANT itself.

"We are not here to criticise young people — we are here to empower them to place Ghana on the global map of quality."
